German Constitutional Court allowed the German Federal President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to sign the Unitary Patent Convention (UPC). It is necessary the ratification of the PAP-Protocol by at least two additional states. It is expected that during the Autumn the rest of ratifications will be executed after the ratification of Germany on 12th August 2021. It is also expected that UPC will enter in force during mid-2022.
